Inn at Mystic Wedding
You may remember Erin and Marc from their engagement session at Harkness Park. Their wedding took place in late August at the nearby Inn at Mystic.
Getting Ready at Haley Mansion
The bride got ready for her wedding downstairs in Haley Mansion on the Inn at Mystic grounds. Her bridesmaids and bridesman helped her into her dress and even did some construction on her bouquet! Meanwhile, the groom was getting ready upstairs in the mansion. We were careful to keep the two from bumping into each other prior to the ceremony. However, the groomsmen had no problem peeking a look at the bride from the balcony!
Inn at Mystic Wedding Photos
There are lots of great locations for wedding portraits at the Inn at Mystic. The bride posed for wedding photos in the formal gardens, on the front porch of the Haley Mansion, by the front door, and on an antique chaise lounge.
Inn at Mystic Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony took place out on the lawn. The bride’s father walked her down a long grassy slope as her groom looked on. Both families watched with amazement as their children got married.
Wedding Photos in Mystic, CT
Afterward, the couple opted for a few minutes alone before we started photos. Then we walked out to the rocks where there is a panoramic view over Mystic Harbor, along with an equally beautiful view looking back at the mansion.
Wedding Reception at Inn at Mystic
Guest moved into the tent for dinner as the sun was going down. After speeches, dances, and the cake cutting it was time to party. This crowd didn’t disappoint. They got down on the gazebo dance floor as soon as the music started playing!
