I’m a documentary photographer. I capture genuine, unscripted moments, the big ones and the small ones, and I don’t stage or direct anything except portraits. That leaves you free to actually enjoy your wedding.

Smiles beat poses.

Instead of stiff, lined-up portraits, I run natural interactions with prompts. It’s quick, it’s a little silly, and it gets us back to the party fast without giving up the photos you’ll want on the wall.

I photograph weddings all over Rhode Island and am often in Newport, Bristol, Narragansett, Providence, and Block Island. I also cover the Boston area, Cape Cod, and Mystic, CT. I love to travel, too, and have shot as far away as Curaçao.

These days my focus is on family photography, but I still love a good wedding and take a small number each year. Keeping it to just a handful means the couples I do work with get my full attention, quick turnaround, and all the fun.

Every package comes with a personalized image-viewing website, a wedding album, a slideshow, and digital image files. Some packages also include a second photographer, an engagement session, and rehearsal-dinner coverage.
