Being a professional wedding photographer in the northeast, winter weddings are few and far between. I was pumped to be hired to photograph this Lakeview Pavilion Wedding in January.
Lakeview Pavilion Winter Wedding
I’m excited to share a few photos from Gina and Ryan’s winter wedding at Lakeview Pavilion in Foxborough, MA. Gina got her wish of a snowy sparkly winter wedding, along with a couple of other wishes…
First Look with Dad
Gina had mentioned to me ahead of time that she was planning to do a first look with her dad. She was convinced that her dad has no emotions and was curious to see how he would react. Hence her elation when her dad became a little emotional upon seeing her as a bride for the first time.
Wedding Ceremony
Gina is so expressive, it was fun to capture her smiles throughout the day, especially during the wedding ceremony at Lakeview Pavilion.
Ryan and her bridesmaids were pretty excited too.
Wedding Portraits
Even though it was completely dark out after the ceremony (thanks to it being January) we got some nice wedding portraits in front of the large windows and outside under the covered entryway at Lakeview Pavilion.
Reception
Did I mention that her father’s band Cheap Voova played the reception? Of course, he took a break to dance with his daughter to Paul Simon’s Father and Daughter (which also happens to be the song I danced with my dad to). I’m not crying, you’re crying!
Surprises!
After dancing up a storm to classics like Africa by Toto, Gina received her third wish. You see, the photographer at her bridesmaid’s wedding had snapped a photo of Gina ugly crying. Payback time came when said bridesmaid’s father (also a musician) got up and started playing drums with the band.
The only thing left to do was dance the night away after her three wishes were granted! Congrats Gina and Ryan, hope you had an amazing honeymoon in the Dominican Republic!
