I recently revamped my website and started a new blog. While I LOVE starting things fresh, I’m also missing all my old blog posts with Wellfleet family photos on the beach. If you know me, you know my favorite place to be in the summertime is at my family’s beach house in Wellfleet on Cape Cod. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to take photos for several families on the beaches in Wellfleet. Something I really enjoy doing. So I wanted to share some of my favorite photos here.

Newcomb Hollow Beach Family Photos

Newcomb Hollow Beach is probably the most popular location for family photos in Wellfleet. I’ve had clients who got married on Newcomb Hollow Beach so it was the perfect place to come back and take photos with their son.

Or they have been going to that beach since THEY were a child. And now they have their own child!

Any of the ocean side beaches in Wellfleet are great for family photo sessions (Lecounts Hollow, Whitecrest, and of course Cahoon Hollow Beach). The beautiful dunes provide a stunning backdrop, and the waves are fun to frolic in!

Mayo Beach Family Photos

Another popular spot for family photos in Wellfleet is Mayo Beach on the bay side. I often suggest it because I love the old lightkeepers house as a backdrop. It’s also a little more accessible for those with mobility restrictions.
